The food in the evening in the bistro was poor at best
The room was the highlight. Roll-top bath was in the room and it just looked (and felt) fantastic. The decor is beautiful and staff couldn't do more to help you. There's even an itemised list of your room in case you liked anything enough to want to buy it.
Parking was awkward and quite a distance away through a building site.
We truly enjoyed so many things about this hotel. Stephen & Darwin in the Bistro were so polite and helpful. Lauren in check in was also very helpful upon check in. We loved the Courtyard and the overall since of peace enjoyed our relaxing moments with wine and cheese in the private sitting areas.
Our room could have been larger, wish we could have enjoyed one of the larger suites.
Fantastic, friendly staff and delicious food - breakfast was superb. Location spot on and also not too noisy. I would stay here again.
My tv was not really up to scratch! Not enough channels and the remote control was difficult to use. There was no access to a tv menu either.Apart from that everything was great.
we had a up grade because it was my birthday what a lovly room wanted to take it back with me x
would like a door on the room between bedroom and bathroom x
They made us feel very welcome, the room was great and they were very helpful and accommodating with our dogs, volunteering bowls and and extra dog bed; fantastic! later we struggled to find a place to eat that would take our dogs so we went back to the hotel and had a really nice dinner with our friends in the Whisky Bar. First class food and service, thank you!
The hotel staff were very helpfull and friendly, nothing was too much trouble for them. From check in to leaving every thing was perfect. We would certainly go back again. A lovely city break made more enjoyable by Hotel Du Vin.
Location. Nice room. Good bathroom products Excellent shower
No car park
Location smack bang in old town. Lovely bathrooms. Extremely comfy beds
No movie channels. No spa. No cooked breakfast in bed.
Nice welcoming hotel friendly staff and a great location
Some of the food was disappointing very salty frys and the rissoto tasted of vinager. The breakfast was nice but there could have been more of it for the price of £14.95
Rooms a little small but everything very nice and homey- would stay again.
Poor room - small and beside street which was opposite a night club! Very noisy until 3am!
The hotel is far more beautiful than online pictures suggest. The room was wonderful. And, they carry the wine theme all the way through which is quite fun.
Everything is there in the room, and works!
Loved our room, cozy and comfortable and the location is ideal being in the old city. The staff were excellent and very accommodating. Dining int he Bistro was also quite good.
